What is PSC (Persons with Significant Control)?
This is a register created at Companies House to reflect who actually controls a company, and owns share(s), this can be a director, shareholder, secretary or some other beneficiary, it is a requirement to update this information once a company becomes active. Therefore, following your purchase and transfer of a readymade company, we advise Companies House of the new PSC, however, this does not include transferring the share(s), which can only be completed through filing the Confirmation Statement, though for your filing we do provide an industry standard Share Transfer Form, a legal binding document.

You can file the Confirmation Statement (CS)immediately yourself (Companies House fee £13) provided you are AMLR compliant, or you can wait until the anniversary of the company (DATE STATEMENT DUE), however, waiting until this date can sometimes affect you obtaining a business account, therefore we recommend filing the CS as soon as possible, or if you prefer we can file the CS for you our fee is just £22, and includes the £13 government fee. we will provide a pay-link for this option following the transfer

The Money Laundering Regulations came into force on the 1st March 2008 and place us (as well as any other person, firm or company who provides “by way of business…services in relation to the formation, operation or management of a company or a trust…”) under a lot more strict obligations concerning how and with whom we conduct our business. The practical effects are as follows:-

1. Purchase of a Readymade Company
2. Provision of Registered Office or Director Service Address
3. Provision of any nominee officer or shareholder or PSC service
4. Purchase of new registration

Proof of Address – Utility bill, bank statement etc., (Must be recent maximum 3 months old)
Picture ID – Passport, Drivers licence etc. (Must have at least 6 months to run)
Selfie - Take a selfie whilst holding something showing the date of presentation (can be a piece of paper with date hand written).

We cannot complete the company transfer, forward any mail or documents onto the new owners until the requested ID documents are received.
